Black Gold Brewing Company - Taft

Our first impresion was negative we arrived in Taft around 8pm and were looking for a place for beer and burgers. Sounded like the Black Gold Brewing Company would be a perfect fit. But they closed at 8pm. A Brewery closing at 8??!!! We came back a couple of days later in the middle of day, seeking refuge from a rainstorm. The owner was extremely nice, the burgers were great (Lots of choices too) and the coffee was very good! Would have laved to try their beers but we were on motorcycles. Looks like I have to try again....

Great food, beer and people. Right next to the Fox Theatre makes for a perfect place to eat before a show take the whole family or go on a night out! Has everything from juicy burgers to fresh Thai food! It?s a must stop

Delicious breakfast, and plenty of avocado on my omelette. The food was perfect- I've gone to too many places that do not season their potatoes. I would definitely come here again. The owner was very nice and let me hang out for a while after my meal out. Nice ambiance, and friendly service. I highly recommend.

Best hamburger I have had in a long time. Home made roll. Real meat patty with fries less than$8. Great wine and beer selection. Owner's wife is Thai so great authentic Thai food. Great place to eat in this small town. Just around corner from Best Western so a preferred option. Close at 8 pm so don't go late
