Tahoe City Sushi

Great sushi here! I was so glad to find a place close to carnelian bay that not only serves vegan options but sushi! I shared the Futo-Maki, bahama-Mama and burning man roles (without cream cheese) with my partner. the burning man roles were my favorites, I loved the light sharp kick to them. that was not bad (approx. 30min,) considering that we are just up and ordered, and you can also walk on the lake while you wait.

We would have tried more offers, but they had only one cook on the staff when we arrived and got to over 45 meals. my advice is the first check to see if two cooks work. the place is small. we ordered a great roll (at least 30 min) suppe and endamame.

This place had a whole page of vegetarian sushi and marked which were vegan! I got two rolls, and loved them both!

Popped in on a whim because my kid loves sushi. I was surprised to find an extensive vegan menu. Lots of creative options. And the boss was really friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sushi at Tahoe City Sushi. The quality was great, and they had a full page of veggie and vegan roll options as well as a killer miso soup. I tried the Futo roll- it was filled with carrot, avocado, inari (tofu wrapper), and cucumber. Check it out!
