Let's be honest when you're in this area, it won't be the cheapest game in the city, but you get what you pay. We also came in before they were opened for lunch and they let us in so that we could get protection from the heat. Service was amazingly friendly and personal, we even brought 2 infants both under 14 months and they were super courteous with our great American strollers.
Amazing hot pot! Delicious and fresh meats and nice spanish beer! Professional Services and acceptable prices! Keep Going! We will be back!
Nice place, friendly staff. We were seated at the bar, which is a nice spot when you're 2. Instead of the set menu (2 people 2100 ntd , we decided to order the peanut tofu, the spicy broth and the cabbage broth, 150gr of pork belly and 150gr of the USA meat (not too sure about the name with udon noodles and the grand ma pork rice. We obviously got some vegetables for the hot pot (mushrooms, tofu, corn, salad, pork cake... . We got 1 Asahi and 1 herbal tea. You can have a refill of broth. The spicy broth was very good and it comes with duck blood (and a refill of duck blood if you want . It is not too spicy. It is also a very good broth to cook the udon noodles. In my opinion, the cabbage broth isn't the right choice for the udon noodles btw. On the other hand, the cabbage broth was pretty good in order to cook the meat, especially the pork. At the end, we had a small cup of herbal tea pudding. It was ok but slightly too sweet for me. We actually had too much food and we were a bit sad we couldn't eat more. Total price was 2.101 TWD. There is an English menu if needed.
Great meat quality and soup tastes really fresh! I was supposed to give them 5 stars, but I was very disappointed to find out that they have a seating time limit (1 hour 30 minutes). Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind that they have a time limit, it's just that they didn't inform us ahead of time and only told us we had to leave exactly at the time we had to leave. They didn't warn us like 30 minutes before hand or during the time we ordered our food.
Extremely overpriced and extremely bland with low presentation value. Restaurant had a good atmosphere, and staff were friendly. It appears to try and replicate the counterculture vibe found in many American cities. They even charge 10% gratuity whether you like it or not, how very American of them! Soup was very plain, and filled with standard vegetables with a couple unique things to hipster it up a bit. Meat was decent, but far from anything special, maybe I 'm just spoiled from living in the Midwest USA where quality meat is plentiful, but I was not impressed with what I was served. My group ordered tea and the waitstaff brought out a bottle of unsweetened green tea you can buy from 7-11 and poured it into champagne glasses... When it comes to price, it 's a complete and total rip off. I ordered the cheapest set on the menu, 120g of pork and still walked away paying $700.... 120g of midgrade, Taiwan pork, plain assortment of vegetables in a soup with no taste, and a pack of Prince Ramen. I would absolutely never come again.
