Kahiltna Bistro - Talkeetna

For lunch now great food close / convenient access! We had the Cod Rice Bowl and Fish Chips. Very recommended!

We tried the coconut yarn that was perfect. We also ordered the pulled pork that was decent, not great, but solid. Fish tacos were very delicious and well prepared. We also have the burger who was above average. The service was very good, and outside was a plus. The interior was very well decorated and very beautiful. The food as a whole was a 4, but with service and ambience up to 5.

Great food. It's just outside the main road, but still in downtown. So you have a better service than one of the baked restaurants on the main street. The food was fresh and delicious. A great selection. I ordered crabcakes. Then I ordered the seafood Mac n cheese. I had remnants. It's expensive because it's Alaska, but the value was on site. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Very delicious fish tacos with house made sauce, little extensive, but given place and quality it is worth.

Stopped in here after a tour. It is a small place that is mixed between a restaurant and tour booking location. I had a cup of reindeer chili and a halibut burger both of which were awesome. The server was a lot of fun to talk to also and the prices were quite reasonable for Talkeetna. I would go back and would recommend it to others.
