Best breakfast in Talkeetna. Great service and not stuffy like the Flying Rat restaurant on the street. If you take too seriously, it can't be your place. If you like good food and a relaxed environment, come here!

Interesting place, one of the best breakfasts I ever had was there but that’s only if I can try to forget the times……the time I saw three dead mice in unattended traps less than 10 feet from our table….or the time that a mouse literally ran across the floor, into my girlfriends boot and back out and across the floor again, or maybe the time we saw two mice racing out of the kitchen after hearing a cook swear at them. Why would we go back you ask? Well, truth be told the other options in Talkeetna were so bad that this was the only choice. Too bad the majority of the businesses in town base their business on visitors who stay in town for less than 4 hours. They don’t care if you come back; in fact many of the locals wish you never showed up in the first place.

This Saturday afternoon, we stopped by for a bite to eat before our ATV tour, and the food was fantastic! I ordered the chicken tenders, and they were exactly what I had been craving. Delicious! My husband had a salad that looked amazing, and he said it was incredible. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. I highly recommend this place!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I particularly enjoyed the Tribute Fish and Chips and the Prime Rib Special for dinner; both were outstanding. You really can’t go wrong with any breakfast option. The atmosphere is lively, and there’s often some fun local entertainment, including occasional impromptu live music. Overall, a wonderful place to dine!

Absolutely amazing food, service, and atmosphere! I spent four days in Talkeetna and had several meals at this restaurant, and I was never disappointed. The prices are great, and I always left satisfied. The staff is very friendly. If you're in Talkeetna, make sure to plan a meal here and definitely don't miss the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie with a scoop of ice cream!
