Subway - Tallahassee

The subs turned out well, and the two ladies working there were very nice. The only reason I gave a 4-star rating instead of 5 was due to the waiting time. I was feeling quite fatigued with a PICC line in my arm and recovering from a bad blood infection. There was only one sandwich artist working alongside the two ladies and an older couple, and they seemed to be waiting a long time for assistance from their colleague, who was called multiple times from back in the kitchen. Eventually, she came out, and I suspected her earbuds might have contributed to her extended absence. Once she finally made my sub, she did a fantastic job. After eating poor hospital food all week, it felt great to enjoy a real meal, and I ended up eating half of it that night without any issues. She even put my paprika in a separate container because I wasn't sure how I wanted it. Both ladies were polite and pleasant, and I don’t think the missing sandwich artist intended to neglect her duties—perhaps she just got caught up in some good music. (And in her defense, I would never suggest turning off the music or using headphones! Maybe they just need to set up a better communication plan.) Thank you, ladies!

The staff really appreciated her. She took her time preparing the sandwiches, ensuring they were tidy and made with fresh ingredients. Her attitude was delightful. The restaurant was clean and had a pleasant aroma. She worked solo and provided excellent service! I just wish I could remember her name—she had short hair and stylish, blunt acrylic nails.
