One of many art galleries located in Fortitude Valley, Artisan is always one of the most interesting.

We were spending the day on Tamborine Mountain and had a few different places lined up to visit. However we were quickly derailed by the very picturesque and charming Gallery Walk. It looks as if a lot of time and effort has gone into making this a very relaxing and enjoyable shopping/eating experience. Some absolutely lovely cottage-industry at work. Main problem is that parking is a nightmare! If you can park nearby and then walk to Gallery Walk that's your best bet.Plenty of other restaurants in-between the shops, so you will easily find something you would like to eat.We'll visit again.

As you walk down Gallery Walk on Long Road there are lovely little quaint shops and houses scattered everywhere. I found the Cuckoo Clock Shop particularly interesting.

After visiting this walk a few years ago, it has certainly seen better days. Lots of the shops and cafes are looking tired, and there is nothing new on offer.
