Bulla Gastrobar Tampa

Yesterday I was here for my birthday. My reservation was at 9:45 a.m., on which reservation you have a 15 minutes grace period. We're here at 9:55 and we have room. A few minutes later, a server comes to tell us that the kitchen closes at 10 a.m. and that we can't order anything we had to go. When I tried to explain that ny reservation was a 9:45 pm and that it makes no sense that you are able to close the reservation at that time when the kitchen is closed at 10 pm it just repeats it and shows me the clock saying: "It is already 10 pm and kitchen is closed". This has never happened to me. I'll never be back.

We went to brunch, but after we had set ourselves at 11:15 (early!, we learned that Bulla from 1 coffee, 2 tea, 3 different foods. The restaurant has not been full since the brunch rush was only after 12:00. We had to get coffee next door (why did not go in Publix or partner with Blind Tiger, what is the local coffee shop literally next door?! During a chain restaurant it is not an excuse to have coffee and tea (breakfast drinks at every morning service. Next we had cold eggs and meals came so variable at times that we forgot what we had ordered because 30 minutes came between meals 2 and 3 on the Brunch Prix Fix menu. We will not return.

The food here is great and the atmosphere is young and alive. There is a beautiful outdoor seating area on the Howard Ave. Side, an energetic indoor vibe and a wonderful roof bar with beautiful views of the city centre. We were pleasantly surprised with the food quality! We're coming back!

Fantastic food, music, and ambiance, just be prepared if you order a bunch of tapas, that the bill might be slightly bigger than you think it will. I highly recommend going during happy hour and getting a break on the incredible drinks that they have there. The Staff is very nice and we will be back again.
