Devito's Italian Specialties - Tampa

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening and we sat at the bar. The hostess was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The food is authentically Italian, fresh, and packed with flavor. We ordered a bottle of prosecco, which was chilled and enjoyable. The night went smoothly and I was very pleased with the food. This was my second visit and I am looking forward to going back again.

We visited this restaurant for my father's birthday with high expectations for a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance was lovely, the hostess was very friendly, and the lighting was attractive. However, our experience took a turn for the worse when we found out that their pasta machine was not working properly, which they failed to inform us about initially. After waiting 45 minutes for our dinner, they finally disclosed the issue. Additionally, we were surprised to be charged $5 for bread without any prior notification. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations either - my mother's fish was bland, my sauce was overly spicy and overpowered the flavor of the squid ink and seafood. Ultimately, we found the bill to be too high considering the quality of the food. It was disappointing that this otherwise promising restaurant in downtown Tampa fell short of delivering a satisfying dining experience.

On a Saturday evening, I met up with close friends and our night at the restaurant was fantastic! The service was exceptional and we started off with a tasty calamari appetizer, followed by a delicious octopus dish that was prepared in a unique and delicious way. The lobster ravioli and salmon that were ordered at our table were also a hit with everyone. The bar had a great atmosphere and Sarah makes amazing "skinny margaritas." We will definitely be returning to this place in the future!

Tampa Gem. Featuring incredible authentic italian food. Not to mention the service we recieved from Tyler was outstanding. Very friendly and professional. Everything they serve here is made in house from scratch including the pasta. What more can i say :

Best marscarpone lemon cake! Phenomenal wine, beautiful atmosphere, stunning decor. Greta Italian selection. Also their customer service is incredible.
