Vizcaya - Tampa

The entrees are mostly delightful. As with any restaurant, some dishes are better than others, and some may appeal more to specific tastes. Nevertheless, this is a fantastic spot to enjoy authentic Spanish cuisine (from Spain). The service is excellent!

The food was enjoyable, and the service was pleasant thanks to a friendly waitress. However, some cheese and charcuterie were brought to our table even though we hadn't ordered them. My friend mistakenly thought it was complimentary, but it ended up on the bill, and we had to pay for it. While the food was tasty, I found it to be overpriced. Additionally, the guitar music was too loud, despite the performers' efforts to adjust the volume. I would consider giving this restaurant another try, but next time I’ll be sure to inquire about any unrequested food since there really is no such thing as a free lunch!

We arrived early for our reservation, were seated immediately, and enjoyed the attention of a young server for the rest of our mealtime. My cocktail (besame mucho) was promptly served and delicious. The calamari was done perfectly. The bread came with an interesting admixture of oil and sauces. The food was delicious, though my sole was totally buried in sauce. The noise level was so low that quiet conversation was enjoyed. The decor was understated with muted colors and linear abstracts by Picasso for wall art. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will return.
