Írjon visszajelzéstMy recent culinary adventure at Portobello unfolded with the delectable Fishcake, a masterpiece of culinary artistry. The crisp exterior gave way to a cloud-like softness within, each bite revealing a symphony of flavors that danced upon my palate. The delicate fish, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, was complemented by a tangy tartar sauce that added a delightful contrast in taste. Equally captivating was the Tagliatelle Marinara, a symphony of textures and flavors that transported me to the sun-kissed shores of Italy. The al dente pasta, cooked to the pinnacle of culinary perfection, provided the perfect canvas for the vibrant medley of seafood mingled harmoniously with the rich tomato sauce, creating an explosion of flavors that lingered long after the last bite. The attentive service at Portobello further enhanced my dining experience. Every need was met with utmost care. Their genuine warmth and passion for Italian cuisine were evident in every interaction, making me feel as if I were a guest in their own home. Whether you are a seasoned foodie or simply seeking an authentic taste of Italy, Portobello promises to exceed your expectations, leaving you with an indelible memory of culinary excellence.
It was our first time in a restaurant. All liked it. The only thing they warned the waitress was that there was no pepper, but the sauce she brought for the steak was completely stuffed with allspice and peppercorns, naturally I didn’t eat it. This is a big minus. Steak medium rare was wonderful. I recommend! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Fabulous food and service, staff were very sweet to my 3 year old and the Sunday offer is amazing Kid-friendliness: Staff were very helpful and sweet with my 3 year old Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Lasagne, Spaghetti Bolognese
We used to go to this place regularly before the pandemic, and the food used to be very good, especially the pasta sauces. We returned to this restaurant the other day, and while the atmosphere is very pleasant (apart from the music they play on speaker, which is really bad cover versions of old hits), the food has gone downhill a bit. first, we ordered the prawns for a starter, and they only gave us FIVE prawns... tacky. for £9 i expected more like 10 prawns. and we ordered pasta for our mains, and sorry, but did the price of pasta go up or something, because they now not only give smaller portions, they were already smallish, but they hardly put any pasta in the pasta dishes. they have more meat than pasta, and sorry, but if you order pasta as your main, you want pasta, not a bowl of meat. and the chicken tasted really plain. also, the sauce wasn't as good as i remembered. tasteless compared to how it used to be. it used to be gorgeous. shame. on the good side, they had a deal where mains were only £8. so i'd say it's worth going there, but service isn't great, it wasn't as friendly as it used to be, and it's slow, and food was just okay this time. nothing special. i've made better pasta at home. again, shame.
