Casa De Valdez - Taos

Excellent brisket, well smoked so really do not sauce, they do have 3 sauces if you want. The German coleslaw was tasty, never had it.

Wonderful atmosphere on the inside. Servers were very hospitable, kept drinks filled. If one waitress was busy there would be an additional person to attend our needs. They helped out each other. The food was very delicious. It did not taste like they cooked it that morning but rather taste very fresh. This native Texan enjoyed this New Mexican-Mex food. What was also neat was the Bar-B-Cue that they had in the menu.

Chili rellenos were delicious, loved the posole, good margaritas and the service was great. They were very busy and good food takes time to prepare. So glad we choose this place, especially since they plan to close after November 23. I wish them the best in their future endeavors!
