The Anchor - TARBERT

We ate in the restaurant. they get some basic seafood dishes. the cullen skin could have been more tasteful, with more smoked squid and was.

So I had not expected much of a hotel in the middle of a small town to catch a ferry to islay the next morning. but wow!

Recently renovated in a clean modern style, this is a pleasant surprise in a somewhat tired harbour front. the seabird restaurant has an excellent menu.,

I visited this restaurant with friends while out for a long walk. I came for lunch and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and had a nice airy atmosphere. I enjoyed the tuna mayo sandwich I ordered, and a few of my friends had the full day breakfast which they also thought was great.

We decided to have a spontaneous meal at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly accommodating and were able to seat us without a reservation, even though they were quite busy. Our food arrived promptly and the service was very friendly.
