Laredo Taco Company: I ordered a Bacon Q taco, it was meh. The tortilla was on the thicker side, soft but, dry and floury. Almost comparable to prepackaged store bought. This location and most Katy and Cypress locations have this type of tortilla...with some also being cracker like. Store: The store gave me the icks. It was not cool inside, I heard one of the ladies comment that the AC was not working well. There were empty boxes by the exit door, in the back. The floor definitely looks like it needs a good scrub, sweep and mop. Aisles were blocked with merchandise. -The soda station was dirty and unorganized. Spills, unstocked and unkept. Unprofessional signage about no free refills. -The coffee station was also dirty and unorganized. Spills, unstocked and unkept. Had left out, open containers of milk sitting on the counter or machinery. The coffee filter baskets were left out by the small sink, with filters in them. I heard one of the ladies complaining about what seemed to be the manager, about a Rocky . It seemed to her that, this Rocky saw the time and just left, which I agree with her. The manager seemed to make excuses for this person. -The creamer station, also dirty and unorganized. Spills, unstocked and unkept. The refrigerated inlet for the creamers, had a small container to hold the milks and some creamers on top of melted ice and squeezing more creamers directly in the slush on the side of said container. -The eating area tables were clean and had napkins on top. One of the trash cans in that area was giving off a stench with visual spillages oozing out of the cabinet, not making my eating experience great. By far the best location is on Howard Street, Houston, Texas...by Hobby Airport. The times that I visited this store, usually in the morning, they are very busy. The staff is still very friendly, jovial and just overall happy-go-lucky. They have music playing, which gives a good atmosphere and probably helps the workers be so friendly. The store itself is fresh (a/c) and the drink stations are moderately clean. It could use a little more cleanliness around the store, ie...floors, eating area, shelving, stocking and clear aisles... however, the friendliness of the staff and happy atmosphere can make this issue forgivable. The Laredo Taco company food is wonderful. The tortillas are like how my grandma used to make, not like pita bread or hard like crackers. The flour tortillas are semi thin, with some translucent spots, a must for soft, buttery, pliable tortillas. They seem to actually drain most of the barbacoa oil, so you don 't get a barbacoa soup taco. The egg mix tacos are of standard good quality and flavor. This location should be the standard training and food prep training location.
Came in around 9 am and ordered two barbacoa tacos. The barbacoa looked like left over from the night before. I told the woman I wanted everything on my tacos but she only put cheese. I got home, after a couple of bite, I threw them away, it was disgusting. Worst taco ever, poor customer service, never coming back!!!
Awful customer service, can’t even rate the food because they took so long to take and make my order that I ended up leaving.
Great on the go food. There is also sit-down options. Service is good and quick unless you get there in busy time of the day and there is a line.
I love other Laredo Taco places. This place however is absolutely horrible. First try, tortillas were hard and not edible. We decided to try once more, the person behind the counter was so rude we left. Obviously very poorly managed.
