Schmidt's Pastry Cottage - Taylorsville

I've had heard of this place but had never taken the time to go in and visit. And now I'm mad that I never had. It was so cool. It's not a very big place but they had so many different options to choose from. It was so hard to limit my choices. I got avariety of items. I think my favorite was the chocolate donut bar. I let my kids choose something to get as well. They were soexcited to choose. We will definitely be back. It was a clean facility. Great and reasonable prices and a great variety tochoose from.

Excellent bakery with something for everyone! We ordered eclairs and sugar cookies, but I?m already thinking about going back to get the Madderhorn. It looked amazing! Also, their sandwiches are really good?just like the best homemade sandwich ever!

Bought cake pop, cookies and Poppy bread. Everything was delicious but the cake pop was my favorite! It was chocolate flavored and SO moist. I'd post a picture but ate it too fast. ?

On Monday, I visited the pastry cottage. The service was so amazing! Amaya and Skylar were so helpful and answered all my questions! 10/10 customer service, they're so nice and work together so well! ? But, there was this creepy janitor guy that was really weird, gave me the creeps.

Stopped here for donuts, and they just weren't that good. The old fashioned donut was as hard as a rock, and the apple fritter didn't have any bits of apple in it. 1 star for their donut taste and quality.1 extra star for the nice gal behind the counter.
