White House Te Puna

Great food. There wasn't a kids menu but our six year old happily demolished the adult salmon. None surroundings though it was a bit cold outside that evening. The chowder was perhaps a bit gloopy and uninspired, but the fish and chips and the crufo were great.

Great quality food and quick friendly service. Went there twice for special occasions and loved it. Even though our favourite menu item, the beef wellington, was taken off the menu the food was amazing! Had a table right at the bar and the barman kept us entertained and made sure we were catered to every second!

Loved this gem we found! Beautiful old villa, lovely gardens, amazing food and staff making you feel at home in a relaxed setting. Enjoyed Loui the barman's cocktails and interesting stories. Will be back definitely!

Beautiful little spot just off SH2. The food is top notch and the service is probably some of the best I’ve had in NZ. Had the calamari and the gnocchi both were delicious and well presented. The calamari was the most tender I’ve ever had and would definitely recommend if you are a squid! Definitely will be coming here whenever I’m coming down from Auckland.
