Gennaro Italian - Tehran

A great place for Iranian food; this branch had a less compact ambience with a better choice of music, but the food is still great.

I'm from Taiwan and I find the taste here is so so good!I'll come again.

Despite the fuss about the alfredo pasta, It was the worst pasta I have ever had. It was tasteless and a few bad taste pieces of chicken (despite the high price). The potato and cheese dish was great and the best taste one that I ever had. The service was good and also the atmosphere was relaxing despite the distance between tables (which is short). I don't recommend it because it is really expensive and the food is not great.

A friend recommended this Italian restaurant and I was there with one of my friends. This is a restaurant on the second floor. We we were welcomed and had the opportunity to choose our table. The entrance and interior was not impressive at all. The menu was very good and there were lots of different pizzas with names and pictures. I asked the waiter if the pizza called Gorgonzola (on the menu), was made with real Gorgonzola cheese. He replied that they use normal Gouda pizza cheese (I got the impression that he didn’t know about Gorgonzola cheese at all). I asked also about the mozzarella cheese they use on the pizza named Margarita. He replied that they don’t use mozzarella anymore. But I could get some blue cheese instead of mozzarella if I wanted so. I accepted the offer. Anyhow, the pizza didn’t taste any blue cheese at all and it was doughy. I was really disappointed.

Quality food. One of the best restaurants in Tehran, the best Italian restaurant I have seen so far. Pasta Penne is the best. Thin Italian style Pizza is definitely recommended. Friendly staff and a good experience in general. Call beforehand to reserve your place. They make Mojito in the house, which is very good, but without alcohol naturally.
