Írjon visszajelzéstThe opa serves an 11-speed tasting menu. the dishes are unique, complex and surprising, with combinations of ingredients and aromas that they find nowhere else. it's not cheap, but it's worth the money. I especially liked the cold raspberry asparagus soup (sound strange? wait for them to try the carrots, the carrots, the carrots, the celery cream tartlets. really, everything is amazing and you never know what you'll get. on the other side, while the price is high, this is not a real fine-dun experience. the atmosphere is very casual (last time I was there, our waiter wore shorts and a nike t-shirt,) the music can be harmless, and the most annoying is the only way to share all the dishes they share from suppe to ice. I personally find this very unpleasant and it really feels like the place is trying to skip instead of offering its customers the best experience. it becomes even more unpleasant if they have a strange number of diners at the table, as the courts should be shared by two people. it also means that solo diners have no luck.
Opa is the top and most innovative restaurant in Tel Aviv, and it is also one of the top vegan restaurants globally.
Be prepared for a selection of 9 small, unique, organic vegan dishes at this restaurant. The menu is fixed, with each dish providing a memorable experience and deserving of its own story. The combination of flavors is incredible and will leave a lasting impression.
Opa is absolutely high cuisine of the very best kind. The Food is inventive, yet simple. Shirel Berger is an outstanding chef. Most dishes are based on one ingredient that is prepared in a variation of ways to form one dish. Timing, combination and portions are perfect (against some other reviews). You can taste every bite in perfect harmony. The wine list is excellent too. A real culinary experience!
While this restaurant is modern, fresh and well-designed, and the food is creative, the portions are so small as to be ridiculous. The menu can be degustation or not. We were 3 people and each course was divided into 3 which meant that we had little more than a mouthful each. Barely enough to appreciate!! Even the main course was tiny, in fact the same size as the other courses. The wine too, while excellent, was meagre in quantity and very expensive.
