Cafe Rio Mexican Grill - Tempe

I always enjoy the meals at this restaurant. During my last visit, one of the staff accidentally tore my tortilla while rolling my enchilada burrito. I didn't mind, but another staff member went above and beyond by fixing my burrito with a fresh tortilla. I appreciate the effort in not only making my meal taste good, but also look good. I recommend using the Rios app to earn free food.

I absolutely adore Cafe Rio, but I have never rated a location with 5 stars until now. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff who were all friendly. The food was delicious, and the patio area was very pleasant with misters to keep us cool. I gave them 5 stars because their dining room was exceptionally clean, which is rare to find in the greater Phoenix area. Thank you, guys! I highly recommend checking them out.

My experience at Cafe Rio was the worst I've ever had. I ordered nachos and the chips were very soft and mushy. I was extremely disappointed.

Why scoop out those beans or chicken so quickly? Let it drain so my meal isn?t all soggy!! It?s really hard to eat with no fork that was not in my bag. They tried to throw some sour cream on the side and charge me extra, no thx. And almost $15 for a burrito!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, too salty anyway. Felt I was rushed and they really skimped on the cheese.

Super delicious and great value for money! I ordered a salad with succulent chicken and beans, lettuce, guacamole, salsa on a fresh homemade and it was huge. 3 meals and so savory. First time here...won't be the last!
