Kabuki Japanese - Tempe

Food and service was great. Even my toddler, the picky eater, enjoyed his hibachi chicken fried rice. Will definitely come back when we’re in town again.

The food was great, and so were the drinks. We did have to wait a while for a waiter to come to our table but when she did come she was very pleasant. The manager did notice and apologize withiut us having to ask. The decor was also very nice but it was somewhat loud for this sort of establishment. Otherwise the atmosphere was good.Food: 5/5

I visited this restaurant 2 times over a 2 week period while I was visiting Phoenix. My first visit was close to perfect. I was seated at the sushi bar and my food was beautifully displayed and tasty. It was so good, I went back a week later. This time I was told the sushi bar wasn't open for seating and I was seated in the farthest corner from the door(I was alone). It took almost 10 minutes for a server to come to the table and then told me she didn't see me. Although the food was still exceptional, lousy service or attitude can ruin your appetite, and I will have to think twice before recommending this restaurant.

I would have to say that my colleagues and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant for lunch while in town for business. We needed a stop halfway between Scottsdale and Mesa and this fit the bill. What a nice surprise we got with how good this place was. I’d definitely come back here when in town again. The food was excellent and the service was great. All three of us loved our lunch plates. Kudos to this restaurant for the great food and friendly service!

Happy hour's price was amazing! Sushi and poke are also tasty, especially the baked salmon in Alaskan roll. They also provide free substitution with brown rice. Service is also good and quick.
