Smashburger - Tempe

This is what is now qualified as a $12 burger! I used to like Smash Bugar, but now socks because they want to charge you twice as much for half of what you usually have in the restaurant. I am so disappointed and would not recommend this place.

Just went to the smash burger at Tempe Marketplace. Buns dry, burgers dry. We walked in and all the workers were standing in a group up front talking with the movie theater kids. No one at either register. When we ordered two singles and one double, we got only one single and the double. I went to tell the young lady who charged us and she reran the entire order and was trying to make me pay for the full order again! I paid for three burgers and got two. Her idea of fixing it was to charge me for the full order again! We walked out without the third burger. Would have been dry anyway.

This is a pretty nice burger place if you are looking to get lunch or dinner. I haven't been to Smashburger in a long time so I was looking forward to stopping by. The service was great. The guy behind the counter was friendly and polite. We ordered the double Smashburger as well as the double with brisket. Smashburger cooks their burgers flat which gives them a bit of a crispy feel. It's a really good burger. The brisket burger was huge. I ordered the double with brisket and it was a battle to finish but it was great. The brisket and burger combo goes together well and the sauce was delicious. Overall we really enjoyed it here for both the service and food. We'll definitely be back in the future.

Friendly staff, clean restaurant and a delicious burger and fries. Takeout burgers are always photo disasters but Smashburger is consistently one of the best burgers I've ever bought. Those Smash fries are great, too.

Worse than the average Snashburger. Many locations are nicer. Staff was friendly, and the food was OK, but the temperature was miserable. We were drenched even before our burgers came. Just not a comfortable way to dine. Whatever the temperature is set to, it is eight or ten degrees to high for comfort, especially when eating. Turn the temperature down, and wipe the tables a bit better, as ours was a tad sticky, and thus would be a good place for a burger before, or after a movie. As it is go to place where the A/C is set to make humans comfortable, and not to try and melt them.
