Best place ever for home grown meats. People are country loving and helpful. Service is over the top. Restaurant is food made from scratch. Real mashed potatoes with butter and milk. Busy like always, so checking out can be slow. So bring along your patience. Worth it

I heard great things about greens over the years and finally decided to give it a shot. I got two t bone steaks from here to throw on the grill and they were DELICIOUS! Their organic milk is also superb! I got the coffee milk and it was surprisingly awesome! I'll be going back to dine-in!

I worked there for a short amount of time and I loved it. There is great people working there and that have been with the company for years it feels like family up there! The meat is the best you will get in town and the diner is awesome! You'll have to try it yourself! Everything is hand made and frash to order!

Almost every restaurant I know has substantial price increases but not Greens. Food is fabulous and there store has great quality meats and great prices. I love good sauerkraut and they have it. I could not believe that my sauerkraut side dish was only 60 cents!

Let me be clear, I know my review won 't stop folks from coming to the beloved Greens. Especially in the climate we live in today. Noone stands up for others ...many don 't even respect themselves. Anywho, here 's my experience today. I had a guest from out of town so I decided to bring him to Greens to have some good food. Yes, it 's good! Unfortunately he stood at the counter and the woman rudely said just a minute when he got her attention. Let me say, they were busy. They always are...BUT a minute later he stepped back (he is a black man) a white man stepped up to the counter and was serviced immediately.... well he tried one more time and the same thing happened. The lady, a waitress I guess, rudely said just a minute. Well seeing that she had time to help her kind I directed my guest to the door. I am a white woman myself. I can clearly see who is welcomed and who is not. Furthermore I see that there are other reviews implying the same. It won 't matter to many and won 't impact this beloved business but I won 't be driving 20 minutes again to patronize this business. I won 't recommend it to anyone any further. I am very disappointed that in 2024 human beings are treated this way. 2 stars because this was employee as far as I know and the food is still good. Would give more but if the employee feels this comfortable treating ppl of color this way on many occasions I 'm going to assume the business owners are okay with it. 2 stars is giving the benefit of the doubt and not leaving just 1 star.
