Írjon visszajelzéstI recently tried the open-faced hot rib sandwich and it was amazing! For just $11, it was the best investment I’ve made in a long time. This place is Berks County's best-kept secret! Just take a look at it—you won't be disappointed!
They use Boar's Head meats, which makes their sandwiches consistently delicious. I love the vintage photos of family car dealerships that decorate the place. It has a nice vibe that almost feels like a cozy booth.
I visited this restaurant several times during my trip to the area. The food was quite good, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The prices were reasonable as well.
Great selection of excellent food! So many memories of Reading Fair, Stock Car Racing and Lee Heffner Ford on the walls. A jewel of Muhlenberg history and good food!
Hidden Gem! This is how a sandwich shop should be done. Without a pause, the gentleman taking my order, answered questions about ingredients and construction procedures as well as happy to incorporate my modifications. I was shocked at the freshness of the greens in my salad. The balsamic/ oil blend dressing was balanced perfect. The bread, and good bread is hard to find, was a pleasant cross of hard and soft roll from Corropolese Bakery. Corropolese also provides their pizza, but this i haven't tried yet. The cook brought my sandwich to my table and courteously placed it down like he was serving at a Michelin star restaurant naming the sandwich and addressing me as Sir. This isn't your run of the mill sandwich shop and for sure should stand out in this city. Soft 50s/60s tunes play in the background immersing you into the Era as you check out the decor. Ample parking next to building, but unfortunately no wheelchair ramp. I highly recommend this little gem.
