When I came here for my 72nd birthday, I had a jolly time. The waiter was so nice and kind, and the atmosphere was certainly amazing. The menus had big print so I didn't need my glasses, and when it was time to sing my birthday song the entire room joined in. The food was definitely scrumptious and decadent. I enjoyed the filet mignon very much, and the mashed potatoes did not upset my digestive system. For dessert I dug in to my favorite treat the crème brûlée, which was absolutely phenomenal. I was giddy and satisfied. Not to mention the comfy seats that didn't hurt my back. Definitely recommend!

Loved the atmosphere and the service was really good. we had a party of 6 and everyone ordered something else from the menu. I ordered the ribeye medium rare and unfortunately it was medium, but I didn't want to send it back because the table was already in their meal. the halibut of my wife was exceptional and the aromen were perfect. we had to have the crème brûlée and it was as good as the server had said.

Ian (the owner) is incredibly rude. I called on 3/26/22 around 5:15 pm to ask about a balance on two gift cards. Ian was frustrated and told me he was too busy to help me and that I should call back another time… I politely explained we were hoping to eat dinner at Mcphees that evening and all I needed to know was the balance on the gift cards. He sighed into the phone and immediately put me on hold. After about 30 seconds of waiting he got back on the phone and asked what the gift card numbers were. I asked him why he was being so rude towards a customer and his response was that he was busy and didn’t really want to deal with this right now. He tried to say he wasn’t aware the gift cards were being used for dinner that evening… like it makes a difference?Ian, If you are too frustrated to take 1-2 minutes to check a gift card balance then you’re running your business wrong. You could have politely asked for my phone number and called me back at a more convenient time. Even though we were planning on eating dinner that evening I would have happily waited 30 minutes or even an hour to have you call me back. Your lack of professionalism really shows the type of person you are. I hope you treat your employees and other customers better than you treated me.

We enjoyed our dinner. Excellent service and food was very good. Nice place to have dinner. It can get busy on weekends. Worth a visit.
