Haryana's - Terrace

The 4 of us for dinner were all very happy and full. Awesome pakoras and another appetizer that is hard to describe. kind of a blend of sweet and savory, creamy, lentil, messy, delight. Very good naan bread to sop it up with. Main courses were excellent. The only shortcoming is the stale decor but it would have to be a lot worse to take away from the 5 star rating I gave it. To be clear, you're coming here for the food itself. Not the flashy all encompassing dining experience. If this place was transported to a major city, you'd have to make reservations well in advance. Vij would NOT be happy if they set up in his neighborhood.

Being from the lower mainland and having options for indian cuisine, we have no idea how lucky we are to have Haryana's in Terrace! The food is excellent and the wait for food used to be very long but has got a lot better. The prices are reasonable but even if it was a bit high it sure beats the other "some what indian restaurant" downtown. I highly recommend this restaurant for either sit in or take out.

Exceptional food, great friendly service. Everything here is home made, that is why there is a wait, but oh my. is it ever worth it! The naan for starters is the best I have ever had. Every dish is wonderful, enough to take home for leftovers as well. Be patient have a glass of wine or a beer, it is well worth it.

I ordered one Sabji and 2 butter nan over the phone. Now you wont find their menu online anywhere. now when i got there i was told total is 34$ and i was surprised because usually it would cost around 20-25$. I asked for Till receipt which showed that food item 1 food item 2 and food item 3. lol. overall the quality of food is very good no doubt about that.

We've had several dinners at Haryana's and all have been so delicious! We usually order Pakora, Aloo Gobi, Rogan Josh, Saag Chicken, Paneer Naan, Chicken Tikka. The only downside is that it is usually a long wait to get your food but bring good company to pass the time with - it's worth the wait.
