Despite rainy weather and one hour waiting for the tramp to go up, we had a great experience once we got there . The place has great atmosphere, food and excellent service ! And the views from the top are amazing! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
**Atmosphere:** I can hardly think of another place that compares to this one, especially for a non-beach setting. The restaurant offers stunning views of the Wyoming mountains, even on a rainy day, complete with a beautiful rainbow. The live music enhanced the enjoyable atmosphere. **Service:** While the service was good, I wouldn't label it outstanding. Our server mentioned she was new, and it showed when she mixed up our order. However, this didn't spoil our experience—considering we were a group of 12, it can be challenging for someone still learning the ropes. She was very friendly and attentive, and I believe she'll become an excellent server with time. **Food:** The food exceeded my expectations. I thought it might be overshadowed by the views, but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors and overall quality of each dish. We started with the Arancini, which was well-seasoned and served with a delicious sauce. I ordered the curry salmon; it was good, though not spectacular. I also asked for a side of bok choy, which I never received. I felt that it would have added a nice touch to the overall dish.
I'm puzzled as to why Piste doesn't boast a higher Yelp rating. This was undoubtedly the best dining experience we've had in Jackson. From the stunning views to the excellent flavors of our meal and attentive service, it was a five-star evening. The mushroom appetizer, topped with a poached egg, was packed with delicious forest mushrooms that were perfectly cooked and seasoned. My salmon was among the best I've ever tasted—flaky and moist, accompanied by a medley of root vegetables that complemented the dish beautifully. Lastly, the huckleberry lemon cake paired with olive oil ice cream was both unique and delicious. Piste is truly a gem and an experience to cherish.
Regardless of what you might think about a mountainside resort café, I was genuinely impressed with the smoked turkey sandwich. The prices were what you'd expect, but I truly enjoyed it!
