I've been ordering C-1 for a few years, and the meal I had tonight was the best I've ever experienced. The food was excellent, and the service was great as well. I got it as a takeout for dinner, and it was a fantastic choice. The price per person is around $10–20. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4.

I have been buying from here for the past seven or eight years and nor sure if I t is new ownership or management but the past 2 months the service sucks and the food is a dam joke.. Mt order has been short changed everytime and they are constantly charging my some ridiculous charges... I ordered last night and that will be the last time for me with this place the food was the worst ever..would have been better dumpster diving Price per person: $20–30

I ordered the Pu Pu platter for one, a small Roast Pork Chow Mein, and the Singapore Chow Mei Fun. When I got home and unpacked the food, I noticed one of the containers was plastic instead of Styrofoam—definitely a sign of a change in management. Although the Pu Pu platter visually looked the same, when I opened the Chow Mein, it was anything but roast pork. Instead, it had unappealing gray, boiled-like chunks of meat, which I really dislike. Roast pork should have those signature red edges from the Chinese rib sauce. The Chow Mei Fun was also missing the roast pork, and instead had an excess of bland noodles and hardly any meat. The variety of vegetables was lacking too; mostly just bean sprouts. After a few bites, I realized that the Singapore Chow Mei Fun was disappointingly bland, lacking the spicy curry flavor. The Chow Mein was overcooked, watery, and slimy. I ended up picking out the gray meat to toss aside for the raccoons in my backyard later. The dry crispy noodles that used to top the dish were now gummy, pasty, and stale—tasting like chalk and inedible. Even the Pu Pu platter was subpar; the meat tasted off. There were no leftovers from this meal! I guess it’s time to start searching for a new Asian takeout spot, as this place is no longer worth my time. Zaijian! (That’s Chinese for goodbye.)
