Cool atmosphere, good food, appetizers, cold drinks and the staff is friendly and helpful from this world. Live Band was really good and a member played for Percy Sledge for 20 years owner is also a cool cat!

If your in the area and want feel out the atmosphere, this is the place to go. Fast service great. The Basket meals were out standing fish, octets, shrimp done perfectly. If you get the Crabs cakes tell them sauce on the side. A hole on the wall that is spot on.

I hope this nostalgic little tavern stays around forever. It's filled with history and fascinating stories. I highly recommend the State Line nachos and Angels on Horseback!

If you're passing through Texarkana, make sure to stop at Jack's. You have to try the shrimp dip!

We stopped in late Saturday afternoon for fried oysters and they did not disappoint! Cocktail sauce was nice and horsey, just as we like it, too. Service was ok.
