Osaka Japanese Steakhouse - Texarkana

I placed a special order for a sushi roll, and it turned out perfectly. I also ordered a medium steak and scallops, along with a well-done fillet. However, when the waitress brought the meals to our table, she mistakenly called out “fillet and scallops.” Right away, I could see that the dishes had been mixed up. It would have been easy to resolve by taking the order back and cooking two new plates. Instead, I ended up with fillet and scallops when I had ordered steak and scallops. The waitress addressed my concern but claimed that fillets look like that when cooked. Unfortunately, the “fillet,” which was actually the steak, was extremely chewy and had a lot of fat. My wife has ordered well-done fillets for the past nine years, and she’s never received one that resembled fajita meat. To make matters worse, the restaurant refused to acknowledge their simple mistake.

It was fantastic! This restaurant is perfect for those of us who have never tried sushi before. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. The food was outstanding; if you enjoy fried shrimp, I highly recommend trying the Rock and Roll sushi roll.

I always have a great experience at this restaurant. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the service is quick and very friendly. If you choose to sit at the sushi bar, they'll even treat you to a complimentary mini crab salad. The hibachi shows are quite entertaining, and the dining area is peaceful and relaxing. The ambiance is just right. I highly recommend the veggie teppanyaki and the veggie roll!

This place used to be my favorite. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but it went very downhill. The last few times I have been here, the food was not very good. The service is usually fine. The show they put on can be kind of neat. However, the very last time I went here, I had food poisoning afterward. I have no evidence that I got food poisoning from here, but I never ate anything else that should have been able to give me that. I was sick for a while and lost a bunch of weight. The food isn't good enough for it to be worth going back and trying again. If you want good sushi, go to Fuji Kim's or Hokkaido. I can make better food than they serve at home and I know I won't get sick. The people working there are nice though. I don't have anything bad to say about anything else besides the food.
