The Kitchen - Thakhek

Our VegVoyages tour group stayed at the hotel and enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant in the morning. We had traditional noodle soup with a generous selection of toppings to choose from. The coffee was outstanding as well. Although we didn't have dinner at the restaurant, we did stop by the bar for drinks where the server spoke English. The location is beautiful and conveniently close to the river.

The staff were very friendly, but there was a limited English menu. The portions were small for the price and nothing special. However, it is difficult to find vegetarian options in the city, so it was fortunate to have some luck here.
