Cafe Mix - Shangri-La Hotel Sydney

Weekend seafood dinner buffet cafe kix is Shangri-la is good. the waitress is attentive to our needs. buffet is worth money. they have quite good red wines to offer. the seafood is good and fresh we also love the deserts. I would recommend to try. her buffet to dinner time

We were at several buffet lunches and dinners. these at $90 per head, they would expect a lot of seafood and good quality eating. seafood were crabs, garnels, oysters and a few crays bugs. the cloves were fresh and sweet, but the crumbs and bugs were tasteless. the hot buffet includes boiled oysters, grilled oaks in banana leaves, baked whole fish, Chinese sticky rice, bark meat stew etc. It is here that an average cook can make a pretty delicious sticky rice with the sausage dried garnels etc. I think the mix cafe chef is not someone who understands how to cook Chinese or hot food because all hot things taste very bland. it is not because of the lack of salt! it is very unusual if you are good looking, impressive looking dishes so tasteless, even the steamed oysters taste not sweet. all dishes, including the large pan of paella, with all ingredients such as clams etc. should be delicious, but they are not! the dessert is good and the soft ice cream was my favorite. coffee tee included in the package, but after drinks wine, the money would have been better spent in a fine restaurant where eating well tastes. for the warm food that has been laid, it does not deserve the regal or counter space in a 5-star hotel restaurant that costs $90 per head without drinks. only the maintenance of the gnade is the great service that the staff provided. every table has been carefully searched, bowling and teller have been deleted very regularly! with the great service, this would be a 1 star experience for me

First time visiting Cafe Mix for breakfast but i will definitely be back. A great selection of hot and cold items of both Asian and western cuisines. Service was outstanding.

The seafood was plentiful and fresh. Oysters, Crab, Bugs and Prawns with a hot selection of Fish as well as great Sushi. There was a Christmas flavour with sweets with mince pies and pudding but some other great choices as well. Our experience was excellent...and we would certainly go back.

We stayed two nights at the hotel and our package included free breakfast. We had the buffet breakfast both days and it was outstanding, probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had.
