Írjon visszajelzéstDisappointing breakfast at M&S CulverhouseCross Cardiff today. Attended M&S and decided to go for breakfast whilst there shopping . A Breakfast cost £8.95 , we had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table , ordered our Hot drinks and nearly finished them after about 15 minutes before our meals were brought to the table , might as well have been by I robot , no conversation from the staff member , mine was just luke warm to start with , no offer of any extra Tomato sauce etc you would have at another cafe or restaurant. I was starving and it was busy so couldn’t be bothered to complain but if it had been anywhere else I would’ve complained . Not worth the money they are charging. The dinky Sausages looked as it’d they were precooked yesterday. Eaten better ready meals from a freezer thrown in a micro for a few minutes .
My husband and I went to the coffee shop for lunch today. We are regular customers, but I have to say the wait for our food was quite long. When it finally arrived, it seemed like it had been sitting out for a while as it was only warm. The coffee shop was crowded with tables full of dirty dishes, giving it a slightly unkempt appearance. I've noticed a decline in the quality of their service over the past few years, and when we inquired about their new advertised items, they didn't have them available.
I ordered the cooked breakfast which came with sausages, bacon, hash browns, mushrooms, beans and sourdough toast with poached eggs. It sounded good but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the dish. The eggs were overcooked and hard, the sausages were small, and the hash browns were mushy. The toast was decent, as were the beans, bacon, and mushrooms. My wife ordered a tea cake which arrived cold.
I take my 89-year-old mother here for lunch every week after shopping. Today, we had a bad experience. The restaurant was short-staffed and it was obvious. There was a long wait for a table despite there being plenty of empty tables. The server who was assisting me had to take orders, process payments, and make our hot drinks all on his own, which caused delays. When I asked if he could use some help, a girl just looked at me and said they were short-staffed. The other register had two staff members working on it. Come on M&S, step up your game.
Very slow service. I ordered Eggs Benedict. Eggs were overcooked and the sauce cold. I would have sent it back but I was hungry and didn't wish to wait again. It seemed that the cafe was understaffed.
