Sunrise Diner - Thomasville

We have always had a wonderful dining experience here as a family. My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for years, and we’ve never encountered any issues. The service is excellent, and most of the waitstaff have been here for a long time. They are all friendly and courteous.

The best grits in town! We absolutely love the warm atmosphere and the comfort food!

We spotted the Sunrise Diner while passing through town and, being fans of diners, decided to stop in. The place was beautifully decorated for the holidays, with Christmas music playing softly in the background. It was evident that this diner is a local favorite due to the bustling crowd on a Friday morning, yet we didn't have to wait long for a table. The food portions were generous and the omelettes were absolutely delightful. The staff was polite and attentive, making our experience even better. We'll definitely make this our new go-to spot every time we pass through town.

Second time visiting. First time they had absolutely nothing and the place looked trashed. This time it was cleaner at least and service was basic nothing special . Food was ok. My husband does love their breading on their chicken tenders but that's about it.

Great food, GENEROUS portions, reasonably priced. Get there early as they tend to run out of items especially the buffet line items. Super friendly and very attentive staff. We eat here several times per week as the buffet line menu changes daily. Two can eat for $15.00 or so leave stuffed! Their take out is just as generous portions as eating in! They also have a pickup window.
