Bruce Wine - Thornbury

A brilliant culinary delight. excellent food, atmosphere and service. watching the chefs work to prepare each fresh dish was great. they are inspired and artistic and you can tell that food is their passion. I highly recommend! we will return again.

Hubby and I did not have a reservation when we arrived. We were offered the bar/ counter or the couch area upstairs. We opted for the couch. We ordered food and when it came they found us a table. The food was amazing. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was great. Can't wait to go back.

I finally went to Bruce wine bar last night. It was amazing. I went to culinary school and worked in the industry for a long time. Normally I think to myself, I could do better at home. But instead now I'll just drive to Thornbury and head straight to The Bruce Wine Bar. Everything was amazing! Pizza, wood fired, was perfect in every aspect. Great dough, great sauce, great toppings spicy oils and the chef noticed we loved the spicy oil and sent out a peach and ghost pepper dip along with some siracha! We and the salumi charcuterie board along with Kolpore springs trout for apps. Followed up by a few pizzas and their beast special which was perfectly cooked ribeye with real Demi and a barley, blue cheese, and oyster mushrooms risotto. Everything was cooked to perfection! Dessert was solid. Wine selection was amazing. Beer choices were great. Our server was a guy, didn't catch his name. He was great! Also we were seated by the kitchen, music was awesome! Real rock and roll! Great job!!! I will definitely be back.
