Was here awhile ago, had the braised lamb shank. Very tender and moist. Good for uptown quality. Prices are a little high. Worth a try for variety. <br/ <br/ RM

At our table, we opted for some reliable favorites. The carpaccio was as fresh as ever, and I always look forward to the grilled calamari, prepared to perfection without any chewiness. The appetizer portion was generous compared to similar dishes at other restaurants. Additionally, it was served with a fresh medley of greens, mushrooms, and tomatoes. For the main course, I chose one of my go-to dishes: seafood linguini featuring mussels, scallops, and shrimp in a fresh tomato sauce. However, one of my dining companions noticed that some mussels were empty shells, with no identifiable edible portions in the sauce. Our attentive server promptly addressed the issue, bringing out a few additional mussels in a separate dish along with the same tomato sauce. That’s the kind of service you want. For dessert, I had my heart set on tartuffo. All desserts, including tiramisu and molten chocolate cake, are homemade. I opted for the cappuccino gelato instead. I’m familiar with the gelato maker, who prepares it authentically and with quality ingredients. If your restaurant is looking to enhance its dessert menu with high-quality options, I can recommend him. The restaurant was bustling, even at 6:15 PM, and we were glad we had made a reservation. People started leaving, but more patrons arrived after we did, indicating a healthy flow of customers. Perhaps a consistent menu paired with a helpful and reliable staff is all you need to offer a tasty and diverse dining experience.

The food was excellent; we ordered the lamb shank and the rack of lamb, both of which were delightful. The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant is located in a lovely area of Thornhill. The ambiance was beautiful and cozy, though it seems to attract an older clientele.

I love tonight's special dish, sea bass...Fish quality is great and it is cooked perfectly. Thanks.

A really traditional family restaurant with great services. Saw this restaurant on urban spoon app and decided to go here with gf for our anniversary. We order steamed PEI mussels for appetizer and the veal picata and it tasted great! My gf isn't a great fan of tomatoes, but she loved the spicy tomatoes sauce on the mussels. We had to ask for more bread to dip the sauce with. Overall a very nice environment and great food!
