Dog Haus Thousand Oaks

I had a fantastic meal served on Hawaiian buns! I tried the pineapple express dogs and the cowboy dogs, while Song went for the hearty slider. It's great that they offer plant-based options, the menu is clear, and the food was outstanding. I'm happy to give this place a five-star rating!

Additionally, I found something that looked like a short thread or hair stuck to the bun of my sausage dog. It was very light and came off easily when I tried to remove it. The table also felt sticky, but I wasn't sure if it was due to worn varnish or if it just needed a thorough cleaning. Overall, the food was delicious, but the staff could benefit from improved training in maintaining cleanliness.

The menu is filled with tempting options that really get you excited. I ordered the Sooo Cali twice. The first time I enjoyed it at the restaurant, and the hot dog was presented beautifully. My only suggestion would be to dial back the spice level a bit, as it overpowers the overall flavor. On my second visit, I ordered it to go, and I was disappointed; it looked like it had just been hastily thrown together, lacking in ingredients, and stuffed into a bag. I wouldn't recommend ordering anything to go.

I would absolutely recommend. I got the Impossible Cali Burrito the Macadamia/Chocolate Chip cookie and they were the best. Would come back definitely. :

Bit pricey but tasty for sure, tater tots were ok but not much flavor. I need to try them loaded
