Urbane Cafe - Thousand Oaks

I usually get the power veggie salad with chicken added here but decided to get a sandwich this time. The salads are beautiful and fill, but a little lacks in chicken, considering that I pay extra for it. I expected that I would get two full types of bread in my sandwich, but it's a bread in half cut to make a sandwich so their sandwiches are really half sandwiches. The bread is delicious and very well filled. I think... the highlight of the meal. It's pretty good for the price. But I think I prefer salads and add extra bread if you have to. It's the more innocent option. I wish they would increase the protein content if you pay for it. At almost $4 more to supplement a protein, more than 2 ounces would be nice. I'm not sure how much they did it, but there seems to be something missing again. I love this place. It is a good option if you keep the bread consumption in check, but there is always this little voice in my head that says I hope that a bit more chicken this time.

I had the best experience today; a month ago I went to the same restaurant in the Simi Valley, and I thought I would never return. But the people in the position Thousand Oaks are AMAZING! The manager and her team have received and won me. My son also loves the pizza of the child; highly recommended. I wish management was the same at all locations. Thank you.

Affordable and choices are very good..staffs are nice and friendly..salmon salad and Baja enchilada soup were soo good..their focaccia bread was delicious...

Great restaurant. Nice ambience. The staff is friendly and the service was quick. The food tasted great. I highly recommend the Mediterranean chicken sandwich with the salad. Very good. We'll definitely come here again.

Food:5/5 Ambiance:4/5 A hidden gem in the middle of the city of Thousand Oaks. Recommended by a friend and never regretted afterwards. Order: as shown in pic: vegetarian and Moroccan chicken sandwich along with side salad. Both the sandwiches were good and the side salad was complimenting to the sandwich. Overall recommended sandwich place.
