Rocky's Pizza - Thurmont

We had been in the city for weeks and were determined to try this restaurant based on its good reviews. We ordered pizza and a garden salad in Chicago. My boyfriend is from Chicago, so we know what to expect when it comes to Chicago-style pizza. Unfortunately, the pizza we received was only thick crust with a thin layer of cheese and the toppings I had added. Additionally, the crust tasted like bad oil. I'm not sure if I ordered the least popular menu item, but I couldn't understand how this place had such a good rating. To top it off, there was a fly in the salad. In conclusion, we felt like we wasted our money on a disappointing meal.

I recently tried a pizza from Rocky's, a local Italian restaurant, and I absolutely loved it. The pizza had a fantastic New York style crust and was packed with flavor. I also tried their pasta specialty, spaghetti with sausage and meatballs, and was blown away by the generous portion sizes. The meatballs were especially delicious (I also had meatballs on my pizza) and the sausage and sauce were fantastic as well. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Rocky's for anyone looking for delicious Italian food - once you try it, you won't want to go anywhere else! Trust me on this.

The food is excellent and the service is outstanding! The prices are very reasonable. It's definitely worth stopping at this restaurant while traveling through.

Been buying from another local Italian restaurant and liked it. A coworker brought some pizza to work and shared it with us from Rocky's and I was hooked!!! Fantastic NY style pizza! Went in and got a pizza and their pasta special; spag with sausage and meatballs. My god, there was so much food! I cannot believe how much was there. The meatballs are the best (my pizza was a meatball as well), the sausage was great as was the sauce! The staff is wonderful and friendly. Rocky, CHUCK is here!!! Go here and you won't go anywhere else for your Italian food....trust me!
