Service was good food was not great a chicken fried steak and part of it wasn't even cooked all the way through I should have complained sent it back but I ate part of it that was done and the rest of it wasn't so I think they cooked it and it was frozen when they cooked it and it was not done all the way through I was happy with the food and all Food: 2

My new favorite place! Glad we took the advice of one reviewer that said Banning’s is modern, updated and clean. It definitely felt more upscale than we expected. The food and service here are amazing and it is no ordinary American fare restaurant. The hubby and I ordered from the “Fall Specials” menu. We were looking for something lighter than the standard bacon and eggs and decided to split the vegan breakfast burrito and regular breakfast burrito. Both were delicious and came with a nice fruit cup of melons and grapes. Neither of us are vegan, but the menu description of the vegan burrito being so flavorful that you wouldn’t miss the meat was spot on. We couldn’t leave without trying pie so we took a coconut cream pie slice home and wished we had just gotten the whole pie and more! Home made deliciousness! Can’t forget to mention that the staff was equally impressive as the food. We sat at the bar to avoid the wait and observed the staff interacting with customers and each other. In such a busy, high pressure environment its understandably easy to be annoyed, short and angry, but everyone there seemed to want to be there. They cared, were courteous to each other and the customers. This is a complete gem of a place and I can’t wait to go back in the years to come. Parking: There is an over flow parking lot so don’t be discouraged when you drive through the main entrance and see it full.
