Marchwiel Takeaways - Timaru

We relocated to Timaru a year ago, and every week we place our usual order: 1 battered gurnard, 1 crumbed gurnard, chips, a hot dog, and a potato fritter. Everything is always cooked to perfection, with generous portions and fresh fish. One night, I stopped by to collect my order and overheard a staff member taking order number 60, which was 34 orders after mine! This clearly shows that this shop offers excellent takeaways and has polite staff, which is why customers keep coming back. Thank you!

The best burgers in town, especially when you add beetroot and onions! Now that's a burger worth savoring!

This is the best fish and chip shop in Timaru that I've been to since arriving here. I wish there were more snapper options on the menus in Southland. I really love my snapper, and these folks always get it just right—never overcooked or undercooked. I give them 5 stars!
