Sam Ethels - Tipp City

Perfect breakfast on Thursday. Great food, great service and the last coffee refill was to go! As outside the city, I guess there's a line on the weekends. If it shouldn't be like that!

Sam Ethel's is my favorite restaurant in Ohio, it's charming, and picturesque, the food is always delicious, and what I'm looking for perfect comfort food, the service is excellent. Oh, and then there are cakes, so try to save some space or go some if you're lucky, there can be modest bird cake. I just wish it wasn't so far from Boston, but it's worth spending the day in Tip City and enjoying a meal at Sam Ethel's.

The staff at this restaurant is always warm and friendly. While there may be a short wait for lunch, it's not too long, especially for small groups. My go-to dishes are the Uptown Breakfast and the Patty Melt with potato chips. I appreciate that they offer soup year-round, not just during certain seasons. Sam and Ethel are my favorites here.

S&E's, what us local folks like to refer to, is the most delicious home cooked and reasonably priced food. My faves are the veggie omlet, the Reuben and the home-made pies. Keith and his staff are the best. Even when you have to wait a few to get a seat by putting your name on the list by the register, it is well worth the wait and they find a way to get you seated quickly.
