Jalpaan Veg - Tirupati

Decent food and very good ambience. Prices a bit on the higher side. But, for a fine ! dining in Tirupati, it's acceptable. Staff are warm and receptive

Jalpaan is one of the fine dine veg restaurants in the city. The ambience and food are spot on. If you're a veggie you should definitely check this out. It's a bit hard to find the restaurant as it's entrance is through another store called druv mithaiwala which is next to Creamstone. The staff is so professional. They have a combination of Indian, chineese and north indian cousine. The best thing about the restaurant is that they're serving proper and authentic jain food. Though it's a Veg restaurant they're serving exotic dishes and the taste is just exquisite. On my recent visit I tried Chats as I was afraid about the hygeine at the local chat stalls and to my surprise the chats here are just lipsmakingly delicious. The Cherry on the Cake is their Complimentary Pan Shot which eases you after the meal.

Hotel is neat and fine , good service but very late... South Indian food was not at all available only get in thali in specific lunch time...other wise there is no options in menu card..

Was surprised to see such a good ambiance restaurant in Tirupati. Nice spread of menu. I have tried Palak Khichdi here, it was nice (though it was more Spicer than expected) quick service, bills served in post box type container adds different touch. If you are in Tirupati and want to visit good family restaurant with North Indian menu as well then this is the place one must visit.

Jalpaan is located at the roundana Road, towards tirumala from railway station. This is one of the fanciest expensive restaurant in that area among other restaurants. Food tasted good and we liked it. But for table service we need to call the service persons several times for water or for cutlery. It was a bit crowded that day, kindaa fully occupied, Though the restaurant was kept neat and clean. Don't over order food and waste it.
