Halima Kebab Biryani - Tokyo

Went for lunch and had chicken briyani. This is a Hyderabad briyani so there will be some difference in case of taste. They are providing soup and salad as a service. The briyani is provided with raitha and dal curry. The amount of briyani is much and more than one person could eat. It is situated near Ueno station, if you are around Ueno and you dont know where to go then this restaurant would be my suggestion.

Nice staff and great food. Their chicken tandoori, biryani rice, and lamb curry are absolute must-try.

If you really want to try true taste of Indian style food then I would definitely recommend this restaurant. But please remember all the items may not equally fulfilled your “standard” as we all have different food habits. We tried Biryani from 3-4 top places in Japan and this place served the best Hyderabadi Biriyani till now. The proportion was more than enough and the spice balance was quite good. We tried lamb Chop that was so so but the Tandori chicken was also great. last but not the least we tried some kerala chicken which offered different kind of flavour than the usual chicken curries of most of the restaurants serves which I like most about this place. India is vast and we have so many kinds of dishes to offer and they exactly try to do that. Stuffs are good and polite. They served quite quickly and also offered tea. The location is also good.

Best biryani in tokio, period! halima kebab byriani is our place for my wife and I when we long Indian food. but it is not just an Indian restaurant; it offers the best Biryani dishes we have tried so far in tokio! fluffy rice, more flamed, the court always surprises us; every mouth is an explosion of seasoned! the rest of the menu is also delicious: large selection of mix grill, curry, naan. everything to incredibly low trips. it is always packed for lunch; and I feel that the Covid removal is not respected enough, which is my only complaining. service is friendly and efficient. it is worth coming to ueno!

Authentic Indian food, it was very tasty with good variety, reasonably priced, service was fast and ambiance was peaceful. Definitely coming back again! They should expand the restaurant to add more space.
