Original Sub Shop Deli - Toledo

We were in town and looking for a local sandwich spot. This place did not disappoint! Excellent food on fresh bread. If we lived in Toledo, this would easily become a go-to spot! I don't know where to begin! First of all, the staff is absolutely lovely. The Subs are so tasty and I highly recommend the Ruben and a side of Macaroni Salad. They always have the best, fresh bread and melt-in-your-mouth cookies! When you walk in it smells like sweet onion! I also highly recommend the Elderflower Soda... AMAZING. The Original Sub Shop and Deli feels like my home away from home, and that is truly what I love most about it.

Love this place!!!!! I felt very welcomed and it was nice and warm in there. Sandwiches are amazing, filling, and flavorful. Staff was very sweet and friendly. I will make this a staple.

I've been coming to the Sub Shop for several years now and have yet to have a bad experience with their food or staff. The staff here believe fully in the golden rule and I always leave with a smile. Seriously this place is a gem. The food though... Oh the food! I seldom say this but I can't find enough good words to describe their offerings. I thoroughly love the happy goat (pressed), clumsy goat (pressed), peppercorn cheese sauce on basically any sub, fresh baked cookies, and soups. My partner has tried nearly every goat on the menu sans sassy and and angry and says everything is excellent. There's no seafood at this facility, though keep in mind baked goods may contain nuts. Just ask and the staff will help you steer clear of anything you need to avoid. Check this place out! They open at 11am so it's perfect timing to hit the farmers market and follow it up with Sub Shop!
