Sunrise Skillet - Toledo

We've made it a tradition to stop by Sunrise Skillet whenever we're leaving town. Each time, we're consistently impressed with both the food and the service. Ashley has been our server on every visit, and I love it—she's starting to remember my order! Lol.

However, I do have a concern about your servers. It’s against health code regulations for them not to have their hair tied up. I noticed a blonde server with long hair serving plates while her hair was touching the food. Additionally, since this is a family cafe, leggings and yoga pants aren’t appropriate work attire, especially when they are too tight. I also noticed that while the v-neck shirts were cute, one waitress bent over to assist a little girl, and the child had to cover her eyes because the waitress’s chest was exposed. That is not suitable for a family-friendly environment. Lastly, the staff should avoid discussing their personal lives on their phones while customers are seated at the bar. Addressing these concerns could really enhance the overall experience, and you would likely have customers lining up outside the door. Great job to the cooks—now it's time to improve the service!

My favorite spot for breakfast! The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is excellent, and the food is amazing, with a variety of unique menu options. I particularly love the strawberry coconut waffle!

Live this place. Great food and service is excellent. Highly recommend for bemreakfast or brunch.

I eat here often and have honestly never had a meal that wasn't great! Great menu, great service and the hottest coffee ever! Love it!
