This is your real deal seafood market. And it was well priced too. We got two lobster tails, a set of crab legs, two steaks, and a lemon and it was only $70 and in amazing quality. Upon entering the shop the employees are working fast and moving through customers. Very happy with my experience here! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The to go food here is vastly overpriced, but that part I didn’t mind given the location on the island. You can expect to overpay. The worst part is the service and the food, equally. Two of four people in my family got food poisoning from what smelled like cooked rotten fish from one of their seafood sampler entrees. The staff is basically all high school college students running the kitchen. It’s complete mayhem in there during peak hours. It’s not the kid’s fault, clearly the owners are neglecting the service and quality of food they cook. The food that was supposed to be hot was cold when we got home (half mile drive away). I was beginning to lose patience after waiting over 45 minutes in the market for my order (even after waiting 15 minutes to leave my house after placing the order on the phone)I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse meal in my life, nor have my wife and daughter have ever been this sick from spoiled seafood. Not to mention the person taking the order on the phone completely didn’t care to pay attention to my order because one meal and an app was missing causing me to go back. No apology or anything from the counter worker when I went back. Again, it’s kids who were running the restaurant so I can’t be mad at them. I half jokingly asked for a comp small cup of cole slaw for the troubles, the kid told me their boss won’t allow it no surprise. I can only imagine what the health department would say if they made a surprise visit. Owners of Ortley Seafood need to wake up. The positive reviews here are from folks who are accepting overpriced less than mediocre food while on vacation. Read the other negative reviews, it’s all consistent.
