Bistro At Salomons Estate

We visited this restaurant on the last day of the lockdown, and the weather was stormy with strong winds and heavy rain. We chose to sit in a marquee where the staff provided us with a heater for warmth. Despite the challenging conditions, we had an excellent meal. The food was exceptional, surpassing what one would expect from many top-tier restaurants in London. However, the standout was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They went above and beyond in difficult circumstances. We will definitely be returning now that the lockdown has been lifted.

Had a birthday present, that was a three curs Sunday lunch for two and went along and it was brilliant, extremely easy to make calls and book and very friendly at the arrival, we were early but sitting right away beautiful ambiente and floor and eating. was great, appetizer and dessert were smaller portions, but saw and tasted great and the pornstars was huge, many sirloin

We have eaten many times here, including family weddings. that was the first time that we experienced her afternoon, who was a gift to us. the winter garden is a pleasant place to eat especially on a bright afternoon and we. were very happy that it was february. we were first served our drinks by tea and coffee. but there was a delay before eating, which meant that I had my coffee and mean man had already drunk his tee. our very helpful waiter (terry) offered me more coffee and my man demanded another tee bag (it was not loose tee, how often served with afternoon tea) than the tee was very weak. the fingersandwiches were ok, four fillings but a little dry around the edges. the scene were absolutely delicious, slightly warm and just a little crispy perfect. the jam and saw were exactly the right amount. the torts came after removing the cake stand separately on a crooked one. that was a real tasty bite and quite different from what you'd make home. we got a box to take the ones we couldn't eat at the time. it was a pleasant experience to improve only by a perhaps better arrangement with the tee and a pot coffee. only coffee from the machine was available. we spent a short time in the Memento room next to the reception before our departure.

We came to salomons with a large group of friends and family all children for christmas with santa. we were here before Sunday dinner and were thoroughly impressed. it didn't disappoint again. the food and service was excellent and...Santa has a lot of fun for the children. would recommend 100% for a high-quality Sunday dinner in a unique and beautiful environment. a special mention for our waiter terry, who was very patient, attentive and professional with the circumvent with our big group. we will be back soon, thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed a two course Sunday lunch here. Highly recommend the ham hock terrine as a starter. The roast beef is a real joy. Kudos to anyone that can finish the roast and still have room for dessert. A terrific meal in a stunning setting.
