We came across this beautiful pub on a walk from the hop farm. Forgive me, for not remembering names, this place, the people that work here, provide a fantastic family atmosphere and service beyond ,and the most fabulous selection of food with excellent taste. This charming pub has incredibly welcoming staff and is situated in a beautiful location. The price range per person is £1-10, with exceptional service and a delightful atmosphere.

Great little pub by the river. We stopped by to get away from traffic and hoped to get food (a Thurs evening) but as with many places now no food during the week sadly. Enjoyed a couple of our favourite Harvey’s Best beers sitting outside and there was a nice vibe and fairly busy, haven’t been for a while but will come back soon hopefully for lunch. A lovely country pub. Low beamed ceilings and an outside area to sit and have a drink. If you are going to eat there you must book first as it is very small. The menu is limited but what they do offer is well cooked. I had battered hake chios and peas. The batter was light and not grass and the chips were amazing some of the best I've ever had. My husband had steak with a mushroom sauce which was very good. Again the dessert menu was limited but we had local ice cream which was delicious.
