Brewers Fayre - Torbay

For the first time since we arrived here on holiday before a week a pub with a good menu that offers a different choice than chips with everything. the table staff was very attentive and michael our server, although he was pumped away from his feet, ensured that our needs were met. the best service level we had all week. all kovid 19 regulations adhered to. well done all

Three times in the last days we were there, but only twice. the first time we were on the spot while we wanted to eat after something, at 20 o'clock. three meal times for adult and a child meal ordered, but the child meal turned out to be incomplete (no mais on the cod, a part of the meal and no explanation) and we only noticed it after our departure. the following evening we used to have at 19:30 clock, a table light enough (there were several to have) but we were told we could not order, there was an hour waiting for food and the kitchen was closed! tonight, after we exhausted other options, we set ourselves up, found a table, asked to order (about 15 minutes,) warned one but the food dipped up within 20 minutes. everything was in order, except the occasional passing moan, that it was a 30-minute waiting to be supplied drinks ordered, although my mac’n’cheese burger was a rather strange combination that, I felt, did not really work. my son loved his vegan sloppy joe burger who, he said, was just like a normal meatburger.

Nice clean pub. eat very nice. the personal is friendly. Too bad we had a family with screaming children during our meal. (not that this is a negatiw of the pubs) coded restrictions are very good. highly recommended.

We decided to book a meal here, our first since the pandemic began. we came for a 2 week break we had booked last year. to say that we were nervous to eat out was an understatement. I'm so glad we did it. I'd have eaten here on the previous hols and loved it. it was a great place and they made it even better. there are so many security measures that eating was beautiful and the staff was welcoming, courteous, helpful and simply beautiful. you will love it. scare. will def back

Very nice food. Nice atmosphere would recommend to holiday goers. Bit of a seagull problem outside but it’s very funny dealing with them. Great place
