We popped in for coffee and cake after glancing them as we walked past, very glad we did, very tasty and not expensive at all

I ordered tea and bottled water, as well as a cream scone. My partner chose a chocolate biscuit bar from the display cabinet. Unfortunately, we were disappointed as soon as our order arrived. I was expecting clotted cream in the scone, but instead it was some sort of squirty cream. The scone was dry and crumbly, so I only took one bite before leaving the rest. My partner couldn't even cut her chocolate bar with a knife and I had to push really hard to cut through it. In the end, we both decided to leave our desserts. It was a waste of almost £10.

We are not sure why we hadn't visited this restaurant before, but we are glad we finally did. We went in the late afternoon and still had plenty of sweet options to choose from. The custard tart was particularly delicious and surprisingly large. Our group enjoyed all the other cakes as well. The coffee was good, with a mild flavor that I enjoyed, though my husband mentioned he might add an extra shot next time. The restaurant offers a loyalty card, where you can get your 10th drink for free after purchasing 9. There is ample seating available across from the shop. The young girl who served us was very friendly, though we did not catch her name. We will definitely be returning.

This used to be one of our favourite places for coffee. However, the coffee isn’t as good as it used to be. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned and this was early on a Sunday morning. The service was fine and it’s still a very popular place. I just feel it’s become average.

Worst customer service ever! Went in to order a hot chocolate latte and cakes. The women serving did not listen and was not paying attention, none of the staff seemed to know what they were doing. Got the hot chocolate, all spilling over r the sides and not offered a lid or napkin. Latte took another 5 minutes to come, then asked if I had been given a cake which I had not, got one cake but initially ordered two which the women serving did not listen to and then proceeded to say I was in the wrong and did not order the other cake rather then just accepting she was in the wrong and apologising. Everyone seemed very unorganised and it wasn’t a busy day. Will not be going back due to attitude of the staff.
